Virtual Career Fair Friday, April 9th

On Friday April 9th from 10:00am – 4:00pm there will be a free virtual career fair sponsored by Joliet Junior College, the Illinois Department of Employment Security, and Illinois Community College Career Services Professionals (IC3SP).

It is free for community members.

Will County Drive Thru Job Fair

The Workforce Center of Will County is hosting a Drive Thru Job Fair in Frankfort on Thursday, April 22 from 3:00 – 5:00pm. If it rains that day, the event will be on Thursday, April 29th.

Drive up, stay in your car, and talk with a recruiter. Face coverings are required.

Latest update:

Cook County, as of March 22, will include people under 65 who have any of the following conditions: cancer, chronic kidney disease, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), diabetes, heart conditions, immunosuppressed states from a solid organ transplant, smoking, obesity, pregnancy, pulmonary disease, and sickle cell disease. You may see this referred to as 1B+.

Beginning Friday, March 19th, Cook County residents or workers who qualify under 1B+ can make appointments, if any are available.

Will County has not released any updates on its vaccine timeline.
